Mini-Conference of e-Health Promotion@HKIEd

e-Health Promotion @HKIEd, a Community of Practice (CoP) project, is run by the Department of Health and Physical Education (HPE), the Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) and funded by University Grant Committee (UGC) Start Up Fund for CoP. The aim of the project is to establish a Web 2.0 platform to co-create innovative evidence-based health promotion practice for educators and student-educators to promote healthy lifestyles in school and community settings.

Under the supervision of learners’ teaching practice, health education practice, internship or honour projects, HKIEd students experimented innovative health promotion practice in collaboration with schools or NGO which were then uploaded to a Web 2.0 platform for peer critique, reflection, refinement and wider applicability with an aim to establish a CoP on effective health promotion practice.

You are most welcome to join in the Conference to share the joy of launching our project which will demonstrate the creative evidence-based health practice outcome by our members. The conference will be a forum to facilitate the cross-fertilization of innovative ideas of health promotion practice which can be replicated in your own working context; and to invite you to be the possible collaborators for the coming health promotion projects.
